Thrive On Praise（ToP)
Tower of Powerのカバーバンドとして結成。メンバーは20代〜50代まで幅広い層で構成されており、名古屋、尾張地域、三重、神奈川などから幅広く集まっています。

それぞれさまざまなジャンルのバンドで活動をしてきていますが、メンバー一丸となり"Tower of Power"サウンドを追い求め、月に１度の練習を基本に（仕事や家庭を騙しだまし...いや理解を得ながら）取り組んでいます。

Thrive on Praise (スライヴオンプレイズ：略称T.o.P.）のバンド名はTower of Powerの略称ToPにちなんで命名しました。覚えにくそうな名前ですが、スライヴオンプレイズとは英熟語で”褒められて伸びる”という意味です。褒められて伸びるバンド、ほめのびバンド(※)と覚えてください。（※CBC大人バンドフェスティバルへエントリーした際、Kアナウンサーが"褒められて伸びるバンド"を「ほめのびバンド！」と説明したのをきっかけに略称として採用。現在はほめのびバンドで検索可能です）

観客の皆様の声援と拍手に支えられて伸びる、そんな日々進化するバンドサウンドを目指しています！


Thrive On Praise (ToP)
The band is an amateur band as a cover band for Tower of Power. 
Its members vary in age from 20s to 50s, and come from Owari area, Mie Nara and Kanagawa. We have been active in other bands, performing various genres of music, but the members are pursuing  the “Tower of Power” sound together, and perform on the basis of the rehearsal once in a month.

The band was named as Thrive on Praise after an abbreviation "ToP" of Tower of Power. We are aiming for an evolving sound by thriving on audience praise:)
